New Headshots

After almost two years, I finally got a new set of headshots! Covid-19 really delayed my shoot since I wasn’t allowed to travel outside of Ottawa because of the lockdown. But finally, the ban was lifted (and I got my two vaccine doses) so that meant I could travel to Toronto to finally get my headshots done. My agent had been recommending photographer Lindsey Macdonald, based in Mississauga, so I booked my session with her right away. It had been officially a year since I moved back to Ottawa from Toronto, so it felt nostalgic coming back around the same time. The session was such a blast and I had a lot of fun coming up with different “characters” for each look. We worked efficiently to fit in as many as we could and we managed to shoot 11 looks in three hours, including hair and makeup! Lindsey and her makeup artist, Leanna, were amazing to work with and I couldn’t be more satisfied with the results. Here’s just a sample of some of the pictures we took.

Generic. Happy individual. Looks like a college student.

Youthful, shy and vulnerable. Perhaps has a dark secret.

Cool teen. But could also be a hip mom?

The girl-next-door. Friendly and approachable. Will take care of your cat.

Yoga/fitness enthusiast. Lives a healthy lifestyle. Probably only drinks green smoothies.

Confident business woman/lawyer/CEO. She will get the job done.

Young, aspiring professional. Wants to be a flight attendant.

Don’t mess with her. She will kick your butt!

Sweet and nurturing. Your future maid of honour. Or fairy godmother?

Alluring spy. Is she the good guy or the bad guy though?

The glamourous professional. Works in a school or library. Looks sweet but is very strict.
