FILMMAKING/Editing
Jasmine Massé recently developed a keen interest in filmmaking. Throughout her travel vlogging journey across Asia and Europe, she particularly enjoyed the editing process. Upon her return to Canada, she ventured into making short films for festivals in Ottawa, the most notable being the Digi60 Filmmakers' Festival. In the fall of 2020, she wrote, starred, directed and edited two short films for the festival, one of which made it into the Top 5 Best Films and won for Best Acting. The following year, she produced another short film for Digi60 called Ghost Writer, which also made it into the Top 5 Best Films.
Jasmine continues to make her own short films and recently graduated from the Post-Production program at Humber College. She has experience using Avid Media Composer, Pro Tools, DaVinci Resolve, Autodesk Maya, Nuke, Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects. She is also currently working as a Video Editor at CBC/Radio-Canada.
