If I had my own sitcom

In my last semester of Post-Production, we had to create a title sequence for our final assignment using whatever elements we wanted. We could choose an existing title sequence from any television show or movie and try to recreate it, or we could create our very own fictitious scenario. I decided to utilize all the footage I had of the “Three Girls” and make a sitcom style title sequence out of it. I first cut it in Adobe Premiere Pro and then brought it into After Effects to add the titles. To add an extra bit of pizzazz, I decided to do some rotoscoping on the “girls” so that they could walk into frame over a bunch of videos playing in the background. Lots of layers were created in my timeline and you could imagine how slow my computer got as it processed each one. The rotobrush tool was very useful but it was sometimes hard to get the precision I wanted. This project took several hours and even days, but overall, I was very satisfied with how it turned out. Now I’m inspired to create some “episodes” to make this an actual sitcom. Perhaps you will see some in the near future. For now, enjoy my title sequence for “Roomies”!
